MEET THE 11 FRENCH QUEENS COMPETING IN DRAG RACE FRANCE
THE DETAILS
Following a fierce and fabulous season, Drag Race France aired its finale episode on Friday, crowning Keiona as the winner. Eleven queens competed in the second series of the international spin-off, hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race S11 alumni, Nicky Doll.
In each episode, the queens have shown off their talent in dancing, singing, fashion and comedy challenges, hoping to survive each week. Going into the finale, the top 4 – Keiona, Mami Watta, Punani and Sara Forever – were all exemplary at showcasing French drag.

In the second series, host Nicky Doll was supported by the regular judges Daphné Bürki and Kiddy Smile, with an impressive selection of guest judges that included, Christian Louboutin, Rossy de Palma, Nicola Sirkis, Chris, Virginie Despentes and Léna Situations.
SERIES 2
Series 2 of Drag Race France became the first European franchise in Drag Race herstory to record its finale in front of an audience, in the classic venue of the Grand Rex in Paris.
This “LÉ-GEN-DAIRE” grand finale aired on Friday night on WOW Presents Plus in the UK, with Keiona crowned as the new Queen of France by none other than series 1 winner, Paloma.
KEIONA
Newly crowned Keiona said in an interview following the finale: “To be the first black French-Ivorian queen to win an out-of-America Franchise, the first one from ballroom, and the first to spend a season in the top; I can’t be prouder of my accomplishments. But It also means that young queer people of colour are looking up to me.”
QUEEN MOON
During the finale, Swiss queen Moon was also elected Miss Congeniality by her series 2 sisters. Series 1 congeniality winner, Elips, crowned her.
The 11 queens of this season were able to captivate an already loyal audience and new viewers who, through the show, were able to discover the multiple faces of the art du drag!

Drag Race France is produced in France by Endemol France and Shake Shake Shake, in conjunction with World of Wonder Productions, with Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell and RuPaul Charles serving as executive producers on the series. The deal for Drag Race France was brokered by Passion Distribution.
