Jason Momoa Returns from the depths alongside Patrick Wilson and Amber Heard in the new trailer for Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom.

On December 22nd, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom will be surfacing in theaters. The DC sequel, once again starring Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/ Aquaman has been a long time coming. It will be released five years after the original film, thanks to COVID delaying the work on the special effects. The team made some changes to the December schedule and finally confirmed a release date. It will mark the final time Momoa will play the character, thanks to the reset of the DCU. Also featuring Patrick Wilson as Orm, Amber Heard as Mera, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, the film will mark the end of the Snyderverse. The new trailer for the film has emerged from the depths.

THE PREMISE

Several years after the events of the first film, Arthur Curry / Aquaman is forced to protect Atlantis and his loved ones from devastation after an ancient power is unleashed by David Kane / Black Manta obtaining the cursed Black Trident. In order to achieve this, he will have to seek help from an unlikely ally, his brother Orm.

The film also features the return of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as David Kane / Black Manta. Joining him are Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry. Newcomers include Vincent Regan as Atlan, Jani Zhao as Stingray, and Indya Moore as Karshon. And with Pilou Asbæk in an as-yet undisclosed role.
