SYNOPSIS

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Alongside Taylor-Joy and Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, and Nathan Jones will all be making an appearance. Rounding out the cast is Angus Sampson, Quaden Bayles, Daniel Webber, and Lachy Hulme. And finally, the late Hugh Keays-Byrne will play a younger version of Immortan Joe from the previous outing.

George Miller’s long-gestating origin story has endured a tumultuous journey to the screen. But after a handful of recastings, the film is finally ready to drag us back to the wasteland. And that alone is enough to have us booking tickets. Hammering our excitement home is the news that Tom Holkenborg is returning to compose the score for the sequel. His soundtrack from the last outing was a glorious treat, so fans will have high hopes for his latest addition to the franchise’s symphonic odyssey.
