Mezco Toys has dropped our first look at the new retro Batman: The Animated Series action figures
Look out fans of Batman: The Animated series because Mezco is about to deliver the motherload. In a throwback to a bygone era, the toy giant has dipped into its archive to update the vintage 3.75″ wave of figures from the classic series.
TO THE BATMOBILE
The new figures feature an updated look from their original counterparts to deliver the definitive versions in this scale. Batman, Robin, Catwoman, and The Joker are all being rewarded with a contemporary polish. And if that isn’t enough to have you sliding down the Bat-poles, the Batmobile is also getting a reissue. With a few modern upgrades of course.
But before we get ahead of ourselves, check out the full reveal below.

RELEASE
Although these exceptional-looking figures are already available to pre-order, fans will have to temper their excitement for the time being. The figures will be shipping out to customers sometime in the summer. And I have a feeling the wait will be arduous. That being said, pre-orders are already live and available through the usual sources. Retail for the 4 figures and the Batmobile is $125, just the 4 figures at around $80. The Batmobile by itself is clocking in at a respectable $45.This is a token price considering the nostalgia attached to these awesome-looking figures.
