Henry Cavill Leads A Ragtag Team of Soldiers On First Poster for The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Feast your eyes on the first poster for Guy Ritchie’s bonkers WWII flick The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare

Lionsgate has dropped the suitably cool first poster for Guy Ritchie’s THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE. The barmy action comedy, which is based on a true story features Henry Cavill taking on the Nazis. And with an elite team of talented castmates like Eiza González and Alan Ritchson to back him up, those Nazis don’t stand a chance.

We recently brought you the first trailer for the barmy flick which you can check out here. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s check out the awesome new poster.

The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare

SYNOPSIS

“Based upon recently declassified files of the British War Department and inspired by true events, THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE is an action-comedy that tells the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials including author Ian Fleming. The top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks, goes on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Ultimately their audacious approach changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.”

Directed by the brilliant Guy Ritchie, The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare stars Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, Til Schweiger, with Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes.

RELEASE

Okay, I’m clearing my schedule because this is going to be one of the sleeper hits of the year. Guy Ritchie rarely drops the ball with his movies, and The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare looks to be another slam dunk. Lionsgate is clearly onto a winner here and with its bizarre real-life story, colorful all-star cast, and hilarious charm, I’m betting the house on this being one of my top films of the year. The notion that the film is based on a true story is more than enough to have us invested. But with its suitably atmospheric new poster, I’d say Guy Ritchie has captured lightning in a bottle again here.

The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare will bring the fight to the Nazis in cinemas in April.
