He’s back. And this season, he’s bringing the fight to them. ‘Mayor’ Mike McLusky is back in business in the third season of the superb series Mayor Of Kingstown. Jeremy Renner once again steps into Mike’s shoes and suit as he and his friends are thrown into an all-new battle for control of the city. Also returning for the third season is the show’s co-creator Hugh Dillon as Ian Ferguson. Tobi Bamtefa as Deverin “Bunny” Washington. Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky. Emma Laird as Iris. Derek Webster as Stevie. And Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert Sawyer. There is no word yet if Aidan Gillen as Milo Sunter is returning. But we do know that Dianne Wiest as Miriam McLusky is not returning.
The trailer for the new season has been released. As we can expect, it shows us a city under siege from the gun-totting gangs left over from last season. It also shows us a new villain in the shape of Richard Brake speaking to Mike inside the prison. We get the feeling that Mike is in for another troubling time as he tries to keep peace and hold sway over the city and its inhabitants. It also feels like this season, all bets are off. Let’s drop in on the ‘Mayor’ once again.

We have also been given the first poster for the new season, and as we could expect, it features Mike prominently. But could the gravestone behind him mark the fate of his mother, Miriam?
All will be revealed on June 2nd when Mayor Of Kingstown Season 3 premieres on Paramount+.
