The Mandalorian & Grogu, the next Star Wars movie, has wrapped filming and is on track for a May 2026 release. Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and his delightful ward brought Star Wars to Disney+ back in 2019, and the duo is leading the charge back to theaters with The Mandalorian & Grogu. Production on Star Wars’ next movie officially began in July this year, with relatively few leaks or set photos due to use of the Volume.

The latest report from Puck News reveals that production of The Mandalorian & Grogu has wrapped. It means the movie is on track for a release date of May 22, 2026, given this is plenty of time for post-production. Filming has evidently run smoothly, with no issues, a testament to director Jon Favreau’s skill.

THIS IS THE WAY!

Details about the film’s plot remain scarce. However, the recent presentation at the D23 Expo provided us with our best glimpse yet. The showcased footage, which hasn’t been made public yet, highlighted a stunning assortment of Star Wars elements. The teaser revealed the revamped Razor Crest piloted by Zeb from Star Wars Rebels and a sneak peek of an icy planet, likely Hoth. This was followed by an astounding reveal of an Imperial Ice Base bustling with Imperial Snow Troopers.

Get ready for the thrilling climax: Din Djarin is set to ride a Clone Wars-era AT-RT down a snow-covered mountain, charging headfirst into battle against a squad of Imperial AT-AT Walkers. This film promises to be an epic spectacle, without a doubt.
