The Oscars have been handed out in Hollywood. But who won what? And were there any surprises? Get the details here.
Stick a fork in it, the awards season of 2025 is done. The pinnacle of the season, The Academy Awards have been handed out overnight. After all the nominations, there were very few surprises. For a show that is supposed to honour the best of the best, it was a rather tame, middling affair that had a few highlights along the way. There were also a few missteps too. The James Bond franchise tribute was completely cringe-worthy. A completely unnecessary time-wasting song from host Conan O’Brien. And the return of ‘The Fabulous Five’ were some of what had many people rolling their eyes. But when all was said and done, history was made on the night by Sean Baker, winning four awards.
