TRUE CRIME
Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein- Available 1st May
Psycho: The Lost Tapes of Ed Gein follows the horrifying grave robber and serial killer Ed Gein. Otherwise known as “The Plainfield Ghoul” and “The Mad Butcher. ” Gein’s crimes inspired iconic films such as Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Silence of the Lambs. For years, filmmakers, journalists, and scholars have tried to unravel the mind of this notorious killer. With new reveals and never-before-heard recordings, viewers will be transported to late-1950s Middle America and submerged in Gein’s perverse mind.
Fall River- Available 1st May
In 1979, almost 90 years after the infamous, accused murderer Lizzie Borden’s notorious acquittal, Fall River, Massachusetts, would become home to another terrifying series of crimes. When three young women were killed in a streak of brutal murders, police alleged a satanic cult was practising human sacrifice. The cult leader, a man named Carl Drew, was captured and sent to prison for life without parole.

The Wonderland Murders & The Secret History of Hollywood- Available 1st May
Based on Michael Connelly’s hit Audible podcast of the same name. The Wonderland Murders & The Secret History of Hollywood is the definitive examination of the infamous Wonderland murder case in 1980s Los Angeles. On July 1, 1981, four people were discovered severely beaten to death in a suburban home in Laurel Canyon on Wonderland Avenue. The murders’ aftermath spans two decades and reaches into the present day with details. Subplots and investigative twists that prove the old adage that truth is stranger than fiction.
Murf the Surf: Jewels, Jesus and Mayhem- Available 1st May.
In October 2019, the New York Times published an article celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Museum of Natural History. An epic jewel heist was one of the most momentous events to take place on site. The biggest in American history, mastered by a band of suave “surfer dudes” from Miami in 1964. The key to the operation was Jack Roland Murphy, otherwise known as Murf the Surf, whose name was propelled into pop culture after the heist. Creating a notoriety that would stretch far beyond the caper. What followed Murf’s meteoric rise is a spiralling tale of unspeakable crime, murder, deception, and mayhem which, to this day, remains shrouded in mystery.

HISTORY
Fiasco- Available 1st May
In Fiasco, Leon Neyfakh transports listeners into the day-to-day reality of America’s most pivotal historical events, bringing to life the forgotten twists and turns of the past while shedding light on the present. And a powerful reexamination of a quintessentially American story—in brilliant colour.

San Francisco: A Place In Time- Available 1st May
San Francisco: A Place In Time tracks the history of the San Francisco music scene from 1965 to 1975. During this period, a creative explosion in San Francisco catalysed and solidified a national movement for a whole generation. Incredible music, brilliant poster art, the birth of the FM radio DJ. The new journalism of Rolling Stone magazine, the emergence of a growing, breaking live music impresario, Bill Graham. And seminal festivals—Monterey Pop, Altamont. And Woodstock propelled Bay Area musicians onto a national scene and into the ears of millions.
Debuts Blumhouse’s Compendium of Horror- Available 1st May
Produced in partnership with Blumhouse Television. This five-part series is the definitive retrospective on the horror genre from the company regarded as the driving force in the horror renaissance. Blumhouse’s Compendium of Horror revisits the shocks and scares from our favourite iconic cinematic horror moments from the 1930s until today.
