Hey, DC fans! The Fortnite x DC Studios Peacemaker set is now available on the map. Here’s everything you need to know.
Look out, DC fans, because John Cena’s Peacemaker has officially arrived in Fortnite. With Superman now delivering big at the worldwide box office and Season 2 of the hit series delighting fans, the DC antihero is now bringing his brand of justice to the Fortnite map. We’ve known that the skin was in development for a while; it was confirmed by James Gunn back at SDCC, to our delight. But until now, the skin has arrived in the item shop fresh from the Quantum Unfolding Chamber.
THE SKIN
Peacemaker has arrived with three edit styles. That’s right—John Cena’s DC character comes with three skin variations for players to choose from. The first style features his traditional helmet, while the second showcases an alternate helmet with infrared lenses. Finally, the third variant presents Peacemaker without a helmet. Take a look at the skin below.

ACCESSORIES
The skin features an impressive resemblance to John Cena and comes packed with some cool cosmetics. You can rock Eagly, Peacemaker’s trusty sidekick, as a back bling. For the pickaxe, he’ll use his awesome shield, and there’s also a custom weapon wrap to match!
The emotes are what really make this character stand out. First up is the funny “Peacemaker Hips” dance from the Season 2 opening, where Peacemaker busts out some hilarious moves to the season’s theme song. Plus, players can give their opponents the Peacemaker Stamp of Approval with a cool logo-generating emote.

PRICING
DC Studios and Epic Games have knocked this collaboration out of the park. The Peacemaker set is a premium collection, considering the accessories included, and the cost reflects that. However, Fortnite will always split the components to make the set more affordable. Should you wish to purchase the Peacemaker bundle, it will cost you a reasonable 2,000 V-Bucks each! Take a look at the breakdown of costs for each part.

SEASON 2
So far, Peacemaker Season 2 has been another crazy outing for our beloved antihero. In my review of the new season, I said, “Fear not, DC fans, because Peacemaker Season 2 is a blast. James Gunn has successfully delivered more of what made the first season so successful. It’s outrageous, gratuitous, ultra-violent, edgy, and jaw-droppingly enjoyable. The characters and their relationships are afforded more time to develop, and Gunn has laid the foundations for everything that will follow in his new DCU. Sadly, the new season isn’t without its flaws; there are a few glaring issues with the relaunch, but they take nothing away from another balls-to-the-wall season of madness. With elements of the new DCU adding their strength to an already ballsy storyline, the second season is off to a strong start, and I cannot wait to see where the last few episodes take us.” Read my full review here.

FORTNITE x DC STUDIOS
The new season is already streaming on HBO Max, Sky, and NOW TV, and now fans have a new Fortnite skin to enjoy. Frankly, it is wonderful to see characters from Gunn’s newly minted DC Universe finally making their way to the map. After a brief hiatus while Warner Bros explored the Multiversus game platform, the DC characters are finally making their way back to Fortnite.
Since Multiversus was discontinued, we have witnessed numerous new additions to the DC character roster. New ninja variants of Batman and Harley Quinn have been introduced, along with Superman and Robin, who were part of the recent Battle Pass. Recently, Mister Terrific and The Engineer have joined the game, enhancing our Superman experience. Additionally, Cyborg has been included to complete the Teen Titans roster. And now… Peacemaker has arrived!

THE FUTURE OF DC
It is safe to say that the collaboration between Fortnite and DC Studios is back on track, and the players are reaping the benefits. With these larger-than-life heroes enhancing our gameplay, the game has never been richer. But with a new season right still in its infancy and Peacemaker unleashing some justice, the latest phase of Battle Royale promises to be incredible. Additionally, we are hearing that Michael Keaton’s Batmobile from Batman ’89 will be added to the game next week in celebration of Batman Day. Could this mean a new Batman skin is due to drop? Let’s hope so, but it is wonderful to see the DC Universe thriving in Fortnite, and long may it continue.
The Peacemaker set is available in the item shop now until September 21.
