Welcome to The Official Film Chart.

THE OFFICIAL UK TOP TEN ON HOME ENTERTAINMENT

This week sees one new entry and two re-entries into the chart. We also have a brand new number one, dethroning Avatar-Fire And Ash from its throne. But what could it be? Grab your masks and knives as we find out.

(1) SCREAM 7

Scream 7 is straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Film Chart. The seventh installment in the horror franchise sees Ghostface return, with a brand-new group of friends becoming trapped in a deadly game of paranoia, revenge, and hidden secrets. Returning survivors must confront their past while uncovering the killer’s identity before another massacre unfolds. Brimming with brutal twists and self-aware humor, Scream 7 brings nostalgia, suspense, and fresh terror.

(2) AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH

With Ghostface’s arrival, Avatar: Fire And Ash is dethroned from the top spot after a month-long stay at number one.

(3) 28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE

The infected get a dose of the chart vaccine this week as 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is sent back down the chart to Number 3.

(4) SHELTER

Jason Statham gets a slight punch this week as Shelter is knocked back a place to Number 4.

(5) THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

As its long-awaited sequel lands in cinemas, The Devil Wears Prada struts back into the Top 5, up three at Number 5. In the original flick, aspiring journalist Andy Sachs lands a job working for terrifying fashion editor Miranda Priestly and quickly discovers the glamorous magazine world is brutal, exhausting, and weirdly addictive. Between impossible demands, designer makeovers, and career sacrifices, Andy must decide how much of herself she’s willing to lose for success.

(6) GOAT

Elsewhere this week, American animated sports comedy GOAT makes a slam dunk, jumping nine back into the Top 10 at Number 6. In GOAT, small-town underdog Will Harris gets thrown into the wild world of professional sports, where bigger, faster rivals don’t exactly take him seriously. Packed with comedy, heart, and plenty of chaotic competition, the movie follows one ambitious goat’s journey to prove that true greatness comes from determination, teamwork, and self-belief.

(10) HAMNET

And finally, my favorite film of last year, Hamnet, returns to the chart, up four places to Number 10.

THAT’S ALL, FOLKS

And that is this week’s official UK top ten chart rundown. Next week, we could see the arrival of Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come. The comedic horror sequel is now available to buy on digital for £11.99. I saw the film earlier this year and had a great time with it. If you loved the first film, you’ll get a kick out of the sequel. Could Samara Weaving take down Ghostface next week? There’s only one way to find out. So, until next time…

Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!!
