Crunchyroll is the official home of anime, with more fans than ever before signing up for the anime streaming service.
Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced today that it has surpassed 21 million paid subscribers worldwide. This figure is up from 17 million paid subscribers in May 2025. This further solidifies Crunchyroll’s position as the premier destination for anime fans.

This milestone underscores the explosive growth of anime globally and Crunchyroll as the best place to go to watch it. A TREASURE TROVE OF ANIME

The 10th Crunchyroll Anime Awards is on 23rd May, in Tokyo. The winning titles are voted on by fans.
