Above the Law
Released on dual format 4K UHD and Blu-ray November 9
“The action sequences will knock you out of your seat!” – Jeffrey Lyons, Sneak Previews / INN
Meet Nico. He’s a cop with an attitude.
Nico Toscani (Steven Seagal) is a former Special Operations Vietnam vet, Aikido expert, and Chicago cop. He finds himself on something big while investigating an international drug ring. However, when the suspects are allowed to walk free, Nico is ordered to turn in his badge and gun. With his back against the wall and his friends and family in harm’s way, Nico decides he’s not out of the action. In fact, no one is above the law…
Steven Seagal makes his explosive screen acting debut. He smashes his way into the top ranks of action stars as he tracks ex-CIA operatives trafficking drugs and plotting a political assassination. Meanwhile, director Andrew Davis (CODE OF SILENCE, THE FUGITIVE) unleashes the fury all over the Windy City. Nico and his partner Jax (Pam Grier – JACKIE BROWN) close in on the psychotic crime lord (Henry Silva – SHARKY’S MACHINE).

The Corruptor
Released on dual format 4K UHD and Blu-ray November 9
“The sleek action sequences include a superbly choreographed car chase through the streets of Chinatown” – Stephen Holden, The New York Times
You can’t play by the rules when there aren’t any
NYPD Lieutenant Nick Chen (Chow Yun-Fat, THE KILLER, HARD BOILED), the head of the Asian Gang Unit in Manhattan’s Chinatown, is secretly entangled with the local triads. But when an idealistic rookie detective, Danny Wallace (Mark Wahlberg, THE DEPARTED), is assigned as his partner, the two quickly become immersed in a brutal turf war between the established Tong factions and the upstart Fukienese Dragons.
Directed by James Foley (GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS) with breathtaking cinematography and spectacular action sequences, this stylish action thriller culminates in violent confrontations that force Chen and Wallace to choose between survival, loyalty, and the badge – and the blurred thin line of morality between cop and criminal.
