At long last, Barry Allen will suit up wearing his iconic golden boots in The Flash Season 8
Look out Flash fans, Barry Allen will be suiting up in his iconic golden boots for The Flash Season 8. At DC FanDome, The CW revealed the first look at Barry’s new comic-accurate costume from the upcoming series. The outfit builds upon the evolution of past seasons and brings Barry’s outfit full circle and returns the character to his comic book roots. Feast your eyes on the glorious reveal below:
GRANT GUSTIN
Barry Allen’s real-life alter ego Grant Gustin described the footwear as “the final element that’s been missing. I’ve loved all the versions of The Flash suit we’ve had on the show, but the suit we have now is the closest to the many iterations you see in the comic books—with the exception of those gold boots! I’ve always felt that those boots would be the final touch.”
The Flash Season 8 kicks off with a five-part event titled ‘Armageddon’ which promises to be some of the finest episodes ever attempted. The story arc will also feature appearances from Javicia Leslie as Ryan Wilder/Batwoman, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce/Black Lightning, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers/Sentinel, Kat McNamara as Mia Queen, and Osric Chau as Ryan Choi/The Atom. Also set to make an appearance are Tom Cavanaugh’s Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash and Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk.
The Flash Season 8 speeds back onto The CW from November 16.
