Prime Video releases the trailer for the Highly Anticipated Revenge Thriller Kill Jackie, starring Award-Winning Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones
Prime Video has released the trailer for the highly anticipated revenge thriller series Kill Jackie. It stars the Oscar, BAFTA, and Tony Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago, Wednesday). The series is based on the acclaimed novel The Price You Pay by Sunday Times best-selling author Nick Harkaway. He wrote as Aidan Truhen (Karla’s Choice, Tigerman). All eight episodes of the new high-octane series will launch on Prime Video on 2nd October in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Canada.
THE PREMISE
Jackie Price (Zeta-Jones) has been living a luxurious existence for the last twenty years – traveling the world, selling fine art and, above all, trying to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international drug smuggler. However, just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons have been hired to kill her. The squad consists of the world’s most terrifying hitmen. Jackie assumes someone from her past is behind it, and she unleashes her old instincts. She embarks on a wild, dangerous game plan: to take down The Demons one by one before they kill her. Soon, she realizes her own demons are much more terrifying than the ruthless killers on her trail. Furthermore, her buried secrets lead her closer to home, with surprising consequences.

BEHIND THE SERIES
From the creatives behind Killing Eve and Gangs of London, Kill Jackie is an eight-part series. It is co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures. The series is co-created by Conor Keane, Tom Butterworth (Gangs of London), Peter Lawson (John Wick) and Damon Thomas (Killing Eve). The Executive Producers are Peter Lawson and Jose Agustin Valdes for Steel Springs Pictures, and Tom Butterworth, Damon Thomas, Catherine Zeta-Jones with Rebecca Dundon, Dante Di Loreto and Jeffrey Levine. The lead Director is Damon Thomas, with writer and showrunner Tom Butterworth. Also, Conor Keane co-wrote the TV adaptation and is an associate producer. Nick Harkaway serves as executive consultant on the series. Furthermore, José Luis Escolar’s Deabru Kalea Filmeak supervised production in Bizkaia.
All eight episodes of the series will be available on Prime Video in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Canada on the 2nd of October.
