Annlyel continues her series focussing on the best moment from every instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
I’m one of the few people who actually likes (actually loves) Iron Man 2 over Iron Man. I mean, I get why people like Iron Man. It’s a good movie with a well-constructed storyline. It took a character who was on nobody’s radar as the next Superman or Batman in icon status and brought him to life in a way that still hasn’t been replicated in superhero films to this day. I just happen to be one of those people who thinks Iron Man is kind of…boring.
Iron Man 2 is where it’s at in terms of superhero sequels. There’s more action, there’s some interesting character development, Black Widow, Nick Fury, and Agent Coulson, and you’ve got a hilarious villain in Justin Hammer. What more could you want? But what’s the best moment in the film? Ooh, that’s a tough one. There are so many scenes that I like in this movie. I think I’d have to say the best moment in the film is when Iron Man jumps out of that plane for his grand entrance at the Expo.
With the rock and roll music blaring and Iron Man flying through the sky, it brings a smile to my face every time I see it. It’s as if the movie is stating, “Iron Man’s back, baby!” and I love it. 😁
Woah, next is Thor, which is actually going to be kind of hard for me because I don’t watch this movie very often. But I’ll give it my best shot. *shrug*
