Harrison Ford has injured his shoulder while rehearsing a fight scene for James Mangold’s Indiana Jones 5
Harrison Ford is no stranger to getting injured on set. During the filming of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, he seriously injured his back. And whilst filming Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Millennium Falcon’s hydraulic door trapped and broke his leg. And now, he can add a new injury to his list of battle scars.

Disney has confirmed that the Hollywood legend has injured his shoulder whilst rehearsing a fight scene for Indiana Jones 5. The extent of the injury remains a mystery at this point. But the injury has still forced Lucasfilm into a filming reshuffle to accommodate his recuperation time.
DISNEY STATEMENT
In the following statement Disney said, “In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder. Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”

Thankfully, Harrison Ford is in fantastic shape for a 78-year-old and will probably recover in no time. However, it does demonstrate that even legends cannot last forever, and sometime soon, even Harrison Ford will have to shed his action hero persona. But before that happens, we can all look forward to one last ride with Indiana Jones.
Alongside its leading man, the untitled fifth Indy adventure stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Thomas Kretschmann.

Indiana Jones continues the search for fortune and glory on July 29, 2022.
