Their X-Wing pilot one deserves to be displayed proudly. But we, the collectors of this piece of fantastic merchandise have always been asking, where is the Boba Fett one? Why hasn’t it been produced by now?
We can all stop asking the question now. Later this year, Disney launches its own streaming service and one of its jewels will be the series ‘The Mandalorian‘. The show’s main protagonist is styled and dressed in the same manner as the much-loved character of Boba Fett. Perhaps it’s this upcoming show that has inspired Hasbro to finally produce the much-requested helmet for the character to sit alongside its brothers.
Announced this past Friday at San Diego Comic-Con, the Star Wars: The Black Series Boba Fett Premium Electronic Helmet is coming to stores around the world, giving fans the chance to grab the most movie-accurate and realistic version of the character’s helmet that has been released to date. Hitting the shelves early next year, the helmet features a flip-down viewfinder HUD display with flashing LED lights, interior padding and an adjustable fit and an inspired illuminating range finder HUD display.

The helmet is available to preorder now for $119.99 and £119.99 and is guaranteed to sell out pretty quickly. The helmet will be available until the spring of next year and looks like a must-have item for any Star Wars fan or collector. But you must be quick to secure one as I can’t see them hanging about for long!
