Moff Gideon returns from the shadows on the latest character poster from The Mandalorian Season 3 – streaming now!
We are just days away from the season three finale of The Mandalorian and the hype train has officially left the space station. Today, Lucasfilm has shared another character poster from the new season. And as expected, it showcases the return of the infamous Imperial Leader Moff Gideon. With Gideon’s prison transport being attacked, the nefarious Moff’s escape was confirmed. But this week, the devious Imperial commander returned from the shadows and governed the remnants of the Imperial shadow council. A meeting that yielded squadrons of aerial reinforcements and the arrival of three Praetorian Guards. And their lethality was there for all to see when Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, and their Mando brethren returned to claim their ancestral home. Little did they know that Gideon was lying in wait with the next generation of Dark Troopers at his side. But don’t take my word for it. Check out Gideon’s glorious key art poster below.

Of course, Moff Gideon is just one of the characters that will carry this new season forward. But it is refreshing to see Giancarlo Esposito’s villain being pushed to the forefront. Traditionally these posters drop within hours of the latest episode launching on Disney Plus. And this week’s new release is no different. So we are already eating well with season three and long may the feast continue.
But who will be joining Moff Gideon on a glossy poster next week? Will Boba Fett make another sensational return? Could Ahsoka Tano be about to make another appearance? Or will Jon Favreau blow us away and give us our first look at Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s Sabine Wren? All will be revealed when the new season of The Mandalorian concludes on April 19th.
