Disney Plus Day | Marvel Shows Its Hand

Are you ready for the return of the X-Men, the arrival of She-Hulk, and Moon Knight among others? Marvel’s Disney Plus Day reveals are here!

It wouldn’t be a Disney Plus Day without any Marvel content. And it hasn’t disappointed us. From the live-action series that we can expect through to the newly announced animated shows. There is a deluge of Marvel shows headed our way. Some are old favorites. Some are brand new. And there are a few surprises in store. Let’s find out what we can look forward to.

X-MEN ’97

Fans of the classic animated ‘X-Men’ series, start rejoicing now. A brand-new animated original series entitled ‘X-Men ’97’ will be heading your way in 2023. The logo for the show has been unveiled:

MOON KNIGHT

The upcoming original series ‘Moon Knight’ has received a logo reveal as well as its first teaser footage and images:

SHE-HULK

The logo and first images from ‘She-Hulk’ have been revealed alongside the first teaser :

ECHO

An original series, ‘Echo’, is officially in the works at Marvel Studios:

SPIDER-MAN: FRESHMAN YEAR

An animated series, ‘Spider-Man: Freshman Year’ is in the works. The show takes place in the MCU and follows Peter Parker in his early days as Spider-Man. He will be going on “a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.” Sounds good, right? :

AGATHA: HOUSE OF HARKNESS

We all know it was Agatha all along, right? The villainous witch from ‘WandaVision’ is back! The delightful Kathryn Hahn is returning as the character once again in her own show named ‘Agatha: House Of Harkness’ :

SECRET INVASION

The original series ‘Secret Invasion.’, which features Samuel L. Jackson back in his iconic role of Nick Fury delivered us a logo poster and the first look at Jackson as Fury WITHOUT his trademark eye patch:

WHAT IF…? SEASON 2

A second season of the brilliant animated show, ‘What If…?’ has been announced:

MARVEL ZOMBIES

An interesting animated show called ‘Marvel Zombies’ is currently in the works:

IRONHEART

Another original series from Marvel Studios, named ‘Ironheart’ will be coming soon to Disney+:

I AM GROOT

Why has it not happened until now? The lovable Groot is getting his very own original animated series very soon as ‘I Am Groot’ gets a logo poster. And he just can’t help making a guest appearance, can he? :

And last but by no means least, we have been given our first look at the upcoming ‘Ms. Marvel’ series:

There you have it! We are in for a deluge of Marvel-themed content to look forward to over the coming year or so. And that isn’t taking into consideration ‘Hawkeye‘ making its debut in a few short weeks. I think we can safely say that our tastes have been completely catered for. And boy, are we in for a great ride. And speaking of ‘Hawkeye’…
