Enola Holmes returns! Millie Bobby Brown & Henry Cavill To Return In Second Helping Of Detective Mayhem!

Last year, the first ‘Enola Holmes‘ film hit Netflix. Starring the incredibly talented Millie Bobby Brown and with great support from Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, and Helena Bonham Carter, the film was a hugely enjoyable film for the whole family. Based On the YA novels by Nancy Springer, there was always room for more adventures for the teenage detective.

Enola & Sherlock to investigate again!

Now, it has been announced that Enola will return in a second film. Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill have been announced as returning once again. Also on board for a second helping is director Harry Bradbeer and screenplay writer Jack Thorne. As yet, these are the only cast and crew that have been announced. But it wouldn’t be right without at least a cameo from Sam Claflin and Helena Bonham Carter as Mycroft Holmes and Eudoria Holmes respectively.

No story or release date news…Yet!

There is no word on which of the novels the new film will be based on or when the film will be released. But we can speculate that the film won’t make its debut until late September of 2022 at the earliest. The first film hit Netflix in September of 2020 so we again must speculate that the sequel will debut two years after the first adventure. Milly Bobby Brown had this to say regarding the announcement:

“I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she’s strong, fearless, intelligent, and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!”
