Do Nothing. Stay And Fight. Leave. Inspired by true events, the new trailer and poster for the Universal Pictures film Women Talking are revealed.

Hitting cinemas on February 10th, 2023 is the big-screen adaptation of the novel Women Talking. Based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Miriam Toews, itself inspired by the real-life events that occurred at the Manitoba Colony in Bolivia, the film features performances from Rooney Mara, Clare Foy, and Francis McDormand amongst others. The adaptation is brought to us by writer/ director Sarah Polley. A new trailer, featurette, and poster for the film have been revealed. Let’s take a look:

THE STORY

In 2010, eight women from an isolated Mennonite colony grapple with reconciling their reality with their faith after it is revealed that men from their community drugged and raped the community’s women at night for years.
