The brightest stars in the Marvel Universe glistened at the world premiere of Endgame
The stars of the brand new ‘Avengers‘ film stepped out onto the red carpet overnight at the film’s world premiere. Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Karen Gillen, Zoe Saldana, Brie Larson, Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tessa Thompson, Vin Diesel, Gweneth Paltrow, Laurence Fishburne, Josh Brolin and others all walked the carpet at a star-studded event.
Conspicuous by their absence though were stars Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Pom Kleintiff, Dave Bautista and Chadwick Boseman among others. However, the shock attendance of Natalie Portman took everyone by surprise. The actor hasn’t been seen in the Marvel Universe since her involvement in Thor: The Dark World and her tenuous relationship with Marvel is well documented. Her attendance has sparked rumours of a return to the fold for Endgame.
Critics who had the privilege to see the film at its premiere have all praised the film, saying its the best of all the Marvel movies and the perfect ending to the past ten years of entertainment.
Many of the stars are expected to appear at the U.K premiere that is being held on Wednesday night ahead of its Midnight opening. However, the U.K premiere will only feature a brief look at the film instead of showing the film in its entirety.
Avengers Endgame opens across the world from Thursday morning and in the U.S on Friday.
