First Look | The Trailer For The Hellraiser Remake Chains Itself Online

Exclusively on Hulu, Pinhead and the Cenobites return in October for a remake of the classic horror movie, Hellraiser.

Back in 1987, a horror movie hit screens that scared the pants off of its audience. Written and directed by Clive Barker, based on his novella ‘The Hellbound Heart’, ‘Hellraiser’ made a star out of actor Doug Bradley. And brought us face-to-face with the Cenobites and their leader, Pinhead. Bradley went on to play the character a total of seven times. As expected, the sequels suffered from the curse of diminishing returns with many going straight to DVD and VHS.

For years, a remake or reboot has been trying to get off the ground. And now it has. Hitting Hulu on October 7th, a remake of the property will be released in time for Halloween. It will stick closer to the source material than the original film did. And this time around, we have a female Pinhead to contend with, played by Jamie Clayton. The first trailer for the film has been released alongside the first poster. Let’s see if the remake will tear our souls apart:
