The Mandalorian and Grogu are heading to Mandalore in the upcoming third season of the inaugural Star Wars series. Jon Favreau’s beloved brainchild returns to our screens on March 1st and Disney Plus is pouring more fuel into the hype train. Like it needed it!
Even though the fanbase is already foaming at the mouth in anticipation, Lucasfilm has dropped a glorious new poster for the series. And as expected, it’s another visually stunning affair. The poster features Mando’s repurposed N-1 Starfighter with Grogu peering out from the pilot seat. And standing on the hull of his fighter and brandishing the Darksaber is Mando himself, looking as battle ready as ever! But don’t take my word for it. Check it out below.
SEASON 3
The new poster suggests that Din Djarin has landed on Mandalore and is headed for a showdown with Bo-Katan Kryze. With Din now wielding the Darksaber, Bo-Katan cannot assume the throne of Mandalore, a position she yearns to fill. Especially after the fall of her sister – the late Duchess Satine. But sadly, that puts her on a collision course with Djarin who is embracing his quest to redeem his honor and earn the right to wear his iconic helmet.
But with his mantra built on a foundation of lies propagated by Death Watch, will Din Djarin uncover the truth and embrace the true Mandalorian way? Or is the radical message of Death Watch too ingrained to set aside? Only time will tell.
