Hugh Jackman Suits Up in Wolverine’s Classic Yellow Costume for Deadpool 3

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have shared a jaw-dropping first look at Wolverine in his comic book-accurate yellow suit from Deadpool 3
Hey Bub, look who’s back in Deadpool 3! In a jaw-dropping reveal, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds have dropped a bombshell by revealing our first look at Wolverine from the upcoming threequel. After more the two decades, Wolverine will finally be donning his classic yellow comic book-accurate attire for the movie. And it looks glorious!
Fans were already excited to witness the return of Wolverine alongside Reynolds, but the duo has upped the ante by delivering the look we’ve been yearning for since Jackman’s debut in 2000. The duo posted the image to their respective Instagram stories and set the internet ablaze with excited chatter. But now, Marvel has treated us to a hi-res version of the image for our scrutiny. And believe me, the suit looks sensational. But don’t take my word for it. Scroll down and check out the image for yourself.
WOLVERINE RETURNS!
CLASSIC LOOK!
I think it’s safe to say that the suit looks glorious and looks as good as we dreamed it would be. One notable change, however, is the addition of full-length sleeves. In the comics and the classic animated series, Wolverine typically charges into battle with his chiseled arms uncovered. But the studio appears to be leaning towards a real-world combat suit layered with armor. With Logan’s well-documented mutant healing abilities, the Marvel legend has never felt the need to don an armored version of the suit. But either way, the costume looks glorious and we can all look forward to welcoming the classic Wolverine into our hearts when the movie arrives on our screens next year.
RELEASE
As of press time, Marvel is keeping the plot of Deadpool 3 pretty close to the chest. However, in recent weeks, it has been revealed that Jennifer Garner is returning as Elektra for the threequel in what appears to be an extended cameo. This has fuelled speculation that Ben Affleck may be tempted to suit up as Daredevil for one final outing. But that has yet to be confirmed. Either way, with Hugh Jackman finally donning his comic-book look, and Jennifer Garner back as Elektra, Deadpool 3 has just received a massive momentum boost. And we are 100% here for it.
Deadpool 3 is currently filming and will release on Friday, 3 May 2024.
