Production news on Wonder Woman 1984 has slowed to a crawl in recent months, but thankfully that is all about to change. The annual Las Vegas licencing Expo where retailers gather to showcase their upcoming entertainment themed products is opening its doors to investors and waiting to greet them is this incredible new promotional poster for Wonder Woman 1984.
The poster features Gal Gadot‘s superpowered Amazonian warrior princess crouching in front of the eighties inspired retro logo. Take a look:
This new poster represents our first real look at Wonder Woman 1984 which finds Diana Prince coming into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War in the 1980s and encountering a formidable foe in the form of the Cheetah.
Kristen Wiig has been cast as Barbara Ann Minerva, A British archaeologist who, after locating the lost city of Urzkartaga and stumbling into an ancient ritual, becomes the host of their Cheetah goddess. Chris Pine returns as Steve Trevor, Connie Nielsen reprises her role as Hippolyta queen of Themyscira and Patty Jenkins return to direct. Hans Zimmer has emerged from superhero retirement to score the movie.
