Lucasfilm and Epic Games have unveiled a first look at Lando Calrissian, who will appear in the Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration on May 3rd.
Exciting news for fans of Fortnite and Star Wars! Epic Games and Lucasfilm have announced that Lando Calrissian will join the game during the upcoming Fortnite x Star Wars event. The new collaboration is set to launch on May 3, perfectly timed for the forthcoming “May The Fourth” celebrations. Epic has been teasing that the game will feature the popular Wookiee, Chewbacca. A new Death Trooper skin has also been revealed, making this event even more exciting. But now, the smooth-talking smuggler is preparing to join his Original Trilogy colleagues.
NEW ADDITIONS
Furthermore, a recent image revealed potential skins for Princess Leia Organa, C-3PO, and the Rebel Fleet Trooper, although these have yet to be officially confirmed. But now, the smooth-talking administrator of the Bespin mining colony will bring his unique skillset to Chapter 5, season 2. PREVIOUS COLLABORATIONS
It’s worth noting that the event above is just one among many that the duo has collaborated on. They have previously teamed up to offer an exclusive Find the Force Quest pack. Upon completion, all-new cosmetics and additional features were unlocked, which made May 4th of the previous year a day to remember. Furthermore, users willing to pay an extra 1,000 V-Bucks were granted access to the Premium Reward Track. This offered even greater rewards. So, fans will hope for another exciting quest pack to grab some exclusive skins and cosmetics.
So far, the Original Trilogy has been represented by Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and the Imperial Stormtrooper. The Mando-Verse has been represented by Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Krrsantan, and The Mandalorian. Kylo Ren, Zorii Bliss, Finn, the Sith Trooper, and Rey Skywalker have joined the fight for the Sequel Trilogy. Most recently, a group of Clone Troopers, alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, Ahsoka Tano, and Darth Maul, have been added to the collection from the Prequel era.
FEEL THE FORCE
Of course, this is mostly rumor. Fans should temper their expectations until we get confirmation. But Fortnite and Lucasfilm just delivered an update worthy of the Force. Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and the Death Troopers are already locked in – who will be next? It’s time to write your wishlist!
